.Net Team ensures flawless performance of AFPC Secure for 2 1/2 years

The Human Resources Division’s .Net Team has ensured the successful performance of the software application Air Force Personnel Center Secure for more than two years.
Under the guidance of the team’s Advisory and Assistance Services contractors, AFPC Secure has maintained a perfect record of usage with no failures.
During this time, the customer requested two updates to the system, including a special update that allowed the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve to use AFPC Secure on mobile tablets.
These enhancements provided new functionality to the warfighter while ensuring all the applications behind AFPC Secure remained protected from hackers and enemy forces.
Thanks to the sustained 100 percent uptime of AFPC Secure, all U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force personnel [active duty, guard, and reserve] were able to sign in and access their personnel records, apply for new assignments, review training, conduct promotion boards, view promotion board results, and more.
This has significantly impacted the morale and welfare of the Air and Space Forces since AFPC Secure is the gateway to most of the Human Resources Self-Service applications.
As the .Net Team transitions to Okta, an identity management platform, they are confident that the success of AFPC Secure will continue.
